Can
wine be fun?
We think
so. For
more than ten years, the award-winning success of Rutz Cellars’ wines
has demonstrated the value of the winemaking style created by proprietor
Keith Rutz. He has taken France’s fondness for small-lot craftsmanship
and extensive highlighting of grape terroir, and combined it with
California’s love of bold, spicy, oaky fullness. Hand-selected fruit,
gentle processing, French oak cooperage, and extensive aging in the
constant temperature and humidity of our distinctive Sonoma County cave
have all combined to produce premium wines that blend the best qualities
of California and France. Now, Keith has proven that the same meticulous
attention to detail can be brought to market in an affordable wine for
everyone to enjoy. The Rutz Cellars 2001 Vintage Romance Series Wines are
classically Northern California wines in the French village style
of everyday drinking wines. The select Sonoma and Napa county fruit
exhibits all of the outstanding qualities of the region, resulting in crisp, clean wines with good acid structure and distinctive mineral
content.
Plus
they have a really cool label...
Enjoy!
