1997 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay

The grapes for the 1997 came from several different locations within the Dutton Ranch vineyard, known for consistently producing some of the region’s finest fruit. Each site possesses a unique identity which serves to add interest and complexity to the wine.  Hand-picked and whole-
cluster pressed, the must was cold-settled in tanks before being transferred to primarily brand-new French oak barrels.  100% barrel-fermented sur-lie, the wine was stirred to enhance mouth-feel and richness.

Rich and intense, the 1997 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay exhibits complex yet subtle fruit flavors of pears and orange blossom, coupled with power and extraordinary balance.  Serve at a cool room temperature.  1090 Cases Produced
