How to find the Rutz Cellars Cave

From US 101 Northbound
- Take the Highway 116 West exit from northbound 101.
- Turn left at the light, and follow Highway 116 (Gravenstein Hwy)
west to Sebastopol.
- Go through Sebastopol and continue westbound on 116 through the
Occidental Road intersection.
- The next traffic light is Frei Rd.—turn right.
- Go approx. 1/2 mile until the road curves sharply to the left. On
the right hand side of the road you will see a large oak tree, and a
yellow traffic sign. Turn into the driveway just past the oak tree.
- Continue down the lane until you see the Rutz Cellars sign on your
right side.

From US 101 Southbound
- Take the westbound Steele Lane exit from southbound Highway 101.
- Bear left onto Guerneville Road.
- Continue for approximately 6 1/2 miles.
- Turn left on Frei Rd.
- Go approx. 3/4 mile until the road curves sharply to the right. On
the left side of the road you will see a large oak tree. Turn left
into the driveway.
- Continue down the lane until you see the Rutz Cellars sign on your
right side
